Description: An American heirloom. Perennial - Rust resistant. High branching habit allows for tall spears at harvest and a more compact summer plant. Allow three years to come into full production from seed. 9-10" Dark Green slight purple tinge in head. Harvest is May-June. Large, strong shoots. Tight heads, known for it's tenderness & flavor.
